The Higher National Diploma Music students are creating a charity live music event in the brand new David Gentleman Gallery on the Ware Campus. The event is to raise funds Youth Music and in particular singer songwriters who create new music. Alice's light burned very brightly but too briefly. New writing needs all the support it can get.
Alice attended Mayfield primary school and participated in productions of Jungle Book, High School Musical, Aladdin and Oliver, where she played Nancy. This year's performance of Mulan was dedicated to Alice's memory and a portion of the ticket price will be donated. A collection was taken at the two performances.
The Bridge String Quartet with local young talented string players from age 5 upwards will be serving up music mostly by Mozart and then yummy cakes galore in this Mothers Day celebation.

The Shamrock Social Club in Ealing will hold its summer fare on the 18th July to further support this special campaign. Should you be able to offer your support to the organisers, it would be greatly welcomed. The Spotlights Musical Theatre Group is an amateur musical theatre group that performs in Ascot, Sunningdale and Sunninghill. We do one main summer show each year - this year My Fair Lady - plus an autumn and Christmas concert.
The group celebrated its silver jubilee last year and is currently about 40 strong. Diana Moran is our President.
Our Musical Director, Serena Kay, taught Alice for a number of years. We are proud to be raising money this year for Alice's Youth Music Memorial Fund.
Gig in memory of Alice Gross raises over £1,000
Musician and violin teacher Cathy Schofield wanted to put on an event in her local community to remember Alice and support her tribute fund. She chose the Drayton Court Hotel in Ealing for the gig, a beautiful venue near to where Alice lived.
