This Tribute is supporting the National Foundation for Youth Music in memory of Alice who had a passion for music. If you want to help please do make your donation here. Alice Gross was born in London on February 14, 2000, a Valentine's baby, and her life was cruelly taken from her. She went missing on 28th August 2014 and was found on 30th September. There are no words to really capture our sense of grief and shock at the loss of Alice. She was a loving, loyal and quirky girl, with a lively sense of comedy and a compassionate nature. She was a keen musician, who wrote and sang her own songs. She played the violin and piano and could turn her hand to any instrument - she was learning the guitar and hoped, eventually, to have a career in music. We have set up this tribute site in memory of the joy she found in music making and to give this opportunity to other young people. We have been astonished by the continuing support of the public for Alice's Youth Music Memorial Fund, which we hope will grow and provide a sustainable legacy of music-making for disadvantaged children. We would like to thank all those who have donated or given up their time to organise collections or put on gigs in tribute to Alice's memory.
